20 Years and Still the Oil Kills

Twenty years after the Exxon Valdez turned the Alaskan coastline into a toxic brew, the coastline continues to suffer, highlighting the need for a rapid response to future spills that is still elusive.

Elusive not because the technology is unavailable but because political leaders have still failed to hold industry leaders accountable for past actions and to demand preparedness against future ones.
