A small gorge less than 1/2 mile along the Smart's Brook Trail in the town of Thornton has the most beautiful set of Icefalls that I have ever seen anywhere. You will feel an almost spiritual life when you come upon it.

As the water moves through the ground in this region it picks up minerals that turn the ice different colors. Each year the ice falls have a different look although the general colors are largely the same because the color relates to the minerals.

An original edition of 100 signed prints of this image is created, signed, dated and with a certificate of authenticity. Shame on the people who booed Bernie today. Politics is the art of the possible. Bernie gave it everything he had and even with the DNC's  fingers on the scales he almost pulled it off.

We all learned what happens when good people are dogmatic about their presidential candidate, just ask President Gore.

Bernie Sanders is a genuine hero who at 74 dragged his weary ass all over the country trying to change the world. He almost did it will and will undoubtably have a huge impact on the Clinton agenda and the congress if we can win it back.

Before he died Ted Kennedy said that his biggest mistake was his unwillingness to compromise on National Healthcare when he had a chance to get half a loaf instead of the entire loaf. Had he done that - he said - we would have every American covered today.

Nader voters gave us the Iraq war and George Bush. People who booed Bernie and don't heed his advice may give us Donald Trump and quite possibly World War Three.

I am no fan of Hillary Clinton and I am heartsick that it has come to this but I'm not going to take the risk that my son Zach will get caught up in the meat grinder of an international conflagration. I'm voting for Hillary Clinton and praying that she will exercise enough restraint to prevent us from burning down the world and enough vision to prevent the planet from burning up.

Nearly all native peoples throughout the land had by now resigned themselves to the squalor, poverty and disease of the white mans reservations but with a small coterie of braves Cochise fought on. Only Geronimo and his band did likewise. Summoned by a dream to make the trip north to the refuge of the Dells, Cochise and his band stood at a point in the Dells. "The hour of our end grows near my brothers", said the Chief. But we will die as free men and your memory will live on in the life we will give to the dreams that guide us. Our bodies will become one with the earth and our spirits will live on. The day will come when the Indian people's love of freedom and our love for the land will define the size of everyman's vision for the future of all people. "

Though I will never again set foot upon this soil let the wind remember and spread the word to the grasses and the living brothers and sisters of the earth so that it will be said that Cochise stood here side by side with you and resolved in the name of freedom, not revenge, to fight on until our strength is gone."

Clutching a conch to his lips he sent forth a song of love for the earth that will ever be heard in even the gentlest breeze as it blows across this place and to the four corners of the earth.
